2021 Produce Show Cancelled
Sadly, at a recent meeting of the Flower and Produce Show Committee they reluctantly decided to cancel this year’s show due to the ever-changing Covid rules.
We hope that you continue to grow your fruit, vegetables and flowers to your usual high show standards and we look forward to seeing your crops next year when the show will be back bigger and better!
Valerie Webb
We were sad to hear that one of our members – Valerie Webb – passed away recently. Our condolences go to all her family and friends.
Myton Garden – Volunteers needed
We’re pleased to be back at Myton and have started tackling the backlog of the last year.
And what a backlog! There’s plenty to do and not always enough people so new volunteers would be very welcome.
If you can help out please contact Liz Campbell for a chat or email [email protected]

Ken Trewhella

Ken was a keen member of the club before he moved away; opening his garden for the NGS and acting as our Show Secretary for many years.
Myton Hospice Garden – Covid update
Sadly, due to Covid-19 restrictions, the team were not able to maintain the garden throughout lockdown. However, they were able to resume visits on the 13th October. Nine members have started the mammoth task of getting the garden in order.
Meanwhile the club has given the garden a £100 donation out of the Copper Collection funds.
